Rowan Hall is an award-winning writer, game designer, producer, and performer. Her work has been seen in video games, tabletop role-playing games, on stage, as well as in traditional, digital, and independent media. As a game designer, she led and contributed to multiple properties, primarily for the media empire Critical Role. Her most recent titles include Candela Obscura (a paranormal investigation game which won the Mental Health in Games Award 2024) and Daggerheart (a sword and sorcery game, which won Gaming Trend’s Best of Gen Con 2025), the latter of which “makes a bold claim to the TTRPG crown” (CGM). Her writing has also transcended into video games with the recent release of “Sunderfolk,” hailed as “the new gold standard for co-op RPGs” (Game Tyrant). Her work has been featured in articles for publications such as Forbes, Polygon, Business Insider, and NPR.

Tracey Harrison is a self-professed “STEM fatale” with a love for history, mythology, and coffee. She is a writer, photographer, IT professional, and co-host of the Willing & Fable podcast. Tracey contributed as a writer and additional game designer for Candela Obscura with Darrington Press, and wrote for Candela Obscura: Horrors of the Fairelands with Beadle & Grimm. She has also served as in-house photographer for Duology Music House and is a co-founder of Pocket Stories literary magazine.
